Eoin leads the Logistics Modelling Group within CSCOPE. He is Senior Lecturer of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Faculty of Business and Society. Eoin was awarded a PhD by Dublin Institute of Technology. He is a Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Eoin is Joint Course Leader of the faculty’s DBA programme which attracts students from home and abroad. He is also Course Leader for the MSc International Logistics and Supply Chain Management.Eoin makes regular visits to India and Africa on behalf of the university as these areas have an ever increasing interest in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Eoin teaches Logistics and Supply Chain Management subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.He is currently supervising doctoral research in the fields of attitude measurement, the Theory of Planned Behaviour, and the application of Structural Equation Modelling. He has supervised Masters research in many aspects of Supply Chain Management and Logistics, in particular: green supply chain issues in international contexts, international perspectives on third-party logistics, the position of logistics organisation to facilitate collaboration.
Eoin’s current research activity is focused around modelling behavioural decision-making in supply chain management, attitudes to information sharing in green supply chain management and the metacognitive reasoning of higher education students.
He is an external examiner for FdA Express Logistics at Hull College in association with Leeds Metropolitan University. He is Academic Reviewer for Transport Policy (The official journal of the World Conference on Transport Research Society) and International Journal of Transport and Logistics.
